About Lincoln Centennial Public School
Lincoln Centennial Public School is the Home of the Lions and is located at 348 Scott Street in St. Catharines, Ontario in the North-Central area of the city. The school is currently home to approximately 220 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. Lincoln has the distinction of being a well established English as a Second Language (ESL) site school that provides support for new Canadian families. We are also fortunate to be one of the schools in the District School Board of Niagara to have a Special Needs Class. Included in our family is the Parent & Family Literacy Centre and the Family & Children's Services Bunting Childcare.
Our educational team offers a wide variety of expertise to ensure our students achieve success and enjoy a safe and nurturing learning environment. This educational team is composed of teachers, educational assistants, a youth counsellor, learning resource teachers, literacy coach, principal, secretary, lunch hour supervisors, a custodian and cleaning staff. Our staff volunteer their time to organize and/or supervise extra-curricular activities for Lincoln students. Through sport teams, clubs, field trips and community events we are able to expand learning opportunities for our students beyond the school building.
Lincoln Centennial Public School is part of the District School Board of Niagara. Our Board is focused on literacy and numeracy achievement and creating an environment where we are working together on our goal of success for every student. We also value the community partnerships and parent involvement which are so crucial to a successful education for our students.
