Select Coffee began by roasting coffees for wholesale buyers like restaurants and other institutions. In January 2005, they opened a retail storefront and it's been an unqualified success with local coffee connoisseurs.

You can often smell the coffee long before you arrive at the plaza. There's always a pot of coffee on for visitors and often Jim or Julie will be roasting beans or packaging freshly roasted beans and ground coffee for their customers.

"When you taste coffee brewed from freshly roasted beans and compare it to vacuum-packed brands at the supermarket, you'll agree that you can't beat the taste of fresh coffee."
